The results of scientific studies are barely known to most people – and if they are, their relevance for the individual is often unclear. That's why we have ScienceFacts. With their help, you can bring your work closer to everyone. The knowledge you gather about users and their behaviour can be used for your own studies. Another advantage: thanks to scientific funding, many sonares services are free of charge.
ScienceFacts bring you and
your science forward!
ScienceFacts make studies personally relevant
ScienceFacts are designed to relate scientific findings from studies to individuals, making them personally relevant. Doing so, they put science where it belongs: in the everyday life of every person!
ScienceFacts can change the world!
By interacting with ScienceFacts, users experience first-hand how scientific findings affect them and their lives. This can motivate each individual to improve their way of life. The more people a ScienceFact motivates, the greater its potential to change the world!
ScienceFacts make you and your work known
ScienceFacts are like a stage for you and your scientific work. Through them, you can present your own or other people's studies, your institution and also yourself to the public. This makes ScienceFacts a new, modern form of science communication.
ScienceFacts allow you to conduct your own studies
The data entered into ScienceFacts by users on various websites is available to you in anonymised, statistical form and can be used for further research without restriction. This gives you access to an enormous pool of relevant and, above all, up-to-date information from which you can derive new and valuable scientific insights.
ScienceFacts are ideal study projects
The development of a ScienceFact is an ideal project for students as well as for scientists. Especially for educational institutions that want to research specific topics with a wider audience, or present their findings to the general public, ScienceFacts are the fastest and most effective tool for this.
With ScienceFacts you can also make money
At the ScienceHub, we regularly advertise interesting scientific topics for which we have a need for computational models for a specific ScienceFact. These commissioned works are of course rewarded accordingly. But you can also propose, develop and submit your own models!
With ScienceStats you gain valuable insights for your work
All entries within the ScienceFacts, which you as a scientist have helped to develop, are statistically processed anonymously and displayed in the ScienceHub. This provides you with additional insights, not only for your own studies, but also for those of your educational institution. Another advantage: this service is completely free of charge for you! Register now in advance and we will notify you as soon as the ScienceHub is online.
Register nowUsage
Through ScienceStats you can see how often users have accessed and used your ScienceFacts.
Demography
With ScienceStats PRO you can analyse user demographics and lifestyles.
Behaviour
You can download the anonymised, statistical data on user inputs as a .csv file.
Your topic and many more: at the ScienceHub
The ScienceHub: Homebase of facts
In the ScienceHub you will find the first ScienceFacts developed by us and our scientific staff and partners. And there are more and more!
The ScienceDeck: a treasure trove of ideas
In the ScienceDeck you will find many ideas for ScienceFacts and those that could become ScienceFacts. Just pick one - or get inspired for completely new projects!
ScienceStats: a world of insights
In the ScienceStats you can find out what the users of your own ScienceFacts are interested in and what entries they have made. Of course, everything is statistically processed and completely anonymised.
This is how easy it is to get your ScienceFact into the Hub
Choose a topic
Whatever interests you, editors or users: you can make a ScienceFact for it. All you have to do is suggest it! If you can't think of anything, no problem: you'll find lots of ideas at the ScienceHub!
Prepare studies
To develop your computational model, you need up-to-date, public studies from trustworthy sources that meet scientific standards.
Modelling
You can build your computational model from these studies. Mathematical-statistical knowledge will help you - as well as our instructions for creating computational models.
Verify
All computational models, data and sources are checked by our staff for compliance with scientific standards. Our scientific advisory board monitors us in this process.
Transform
Once the computational model has been checked and approved, we use it to create a calculation kernel and a frontend that react to the simultaneous input of thousands of users at the speed of light (almost).
Publish
In the last step, we bring your ScienceFact to the ScienceHub, including description, references and further information. Now everyone can see it and embed it on their pages. Recognition, honour and all the findings from it are yours, naturally!
The big ScienceCup 2024. The best idea wins!
All those who submit their ideas for a new ScienceFact by 31 December will take part in the official presentation of the CommunityAward by our jury. The winning idea receives the golden ScienceCup - Limited Edition 1 of 1
Register for the next ScienceWebinar
For scientists who want to implement their own ScienceFacts, we organise webinars at regular intervals. If you register here, you will receive the invitations well beforehand by e-mail. Otherwise, you can also contact us directly: info@sonares.org
We thank you for the scientific support
We would like to thank our numerous partners in the scientific community who support us actively, passively and through their research work in the creation of ScienceFacts and help us to make science accessible to everyone.
Frequently asked questions
Can ScienceFacts be embedded on any page?
ScienceFacts can be integrated in any website that meets our requirements. Sites with illegal, violence glorifying, pornographic, defamatory or discriminatory content of any kind, are excluded. We reserve the right to refuse or disable integrations on pages that violate our principles.
How can I use the data from the farm for my scientific work?
You will receive the data of all ScienceFacts that you have contributed to as a free download. For this purpose, we generate a .csv file containing all current user input data in statistical, anonymized form. You can freely use and share this data scientifically - also for your work, your institute, your university or your company.
Are ScienceFacts and the ScienceHub relevant to everyone?
In any case. Scientific data and findings affect the lives of every single person in the world. And they can help to change or improve it.
Is user data protected from misuse?
Protecting the privacy of our users is our highest priority. Therefore, user entries are processed anonymously only. Users can delete the data entered on their end user device at any time. No personal data is stored on sonares' servers.

Of course. We have voluntarily committed ourselves to comply with all transparency and user consent requirements set by the GDPR. We believe that data privacy and data usage should solely be in the interest of the user. That is why we are a proud member of IAB and support the current TCF 2.0 framework.
How are user inputs used scientifically?
The use of ScienceFacts and the statistical analysis thereof serve our employees, scientists and partners to conduct their own studies and to gain new insights through them. For this purpose, we provide our partners with statistical, anonymous usage data of our ScienceFacts, which they in turn can use to further develop their statistical models and theories or improve their content offerings.
Where do I see the performance of ScienceFacts?
Conveniently in the ScienceHub. Here you can find out how the ScienceFacts you use - and all others - perform and compare them with each other if you wish. In addition, you will find extensive options for statistical analysis of usage in the ScienceHub.
Are there technical requirements for the integration?
Technically, ScienceFacts can be used on any public page on the internet. They are integrated by means of a so-called iFrame and are loaded securely and almost instantaneously into the page. They can easily be combined with any CMS, such as WordPress.
