We bring science to life

The agenda behind the sonares ScienceFacts

Like a paediatric heart surgeon who enters the operating theatre with the unwavering goal of seeing his little patients grow up healthy, scientists also want their research not to come to nothing, but to change people's lives.

Studies, which are fed by enormous sources of data and are often conducted over many years, produce results that are of the utmost importance across all disciplines and should therefore not be withheld from the general public.

Accessibility of scientific studies

Science has always endeavoured to make the knowledge it has uncovered accessible to people in publications, at seminars, conferences and discussion events, in cooperation with film and television - and of course where science is at home, at universities.

But what if there was another, direct, easily accessible way to do this? Something that would make research even more accessible to everyone and make study results not only visible, but also easy to understand and customised for each individual? We wouldn't be asking this question here if we didn't have a satisfactory answer. As you can probably already guess, we are talking about sonares ScienceFacts.

Individual evaluation of scientific findings

Almost every topic that moves people is also represented in science by numerous studies. Be it nutrition, health, the environment, socio-political or cultural developments, to name but a few. This is precisely where sonares ScienceFacts builds a bridge between science and people's everyday lives and uses specific questions to establish a direct, individual connection to their reality. Created in close co-operation with universities, scientific institutes and research facilities, the ScienceFacts are, to put it concisely, calculation models that relate the results of scientifically conducted, tested, independent studies to individual people, the ScienceFact users. In this way, figures and data strands are turned into insightful information that is customised to the individual and thus becomes more relevant to them.

Our credo at sonares is to make science tangible for everyone. We are convinced that science can change people's lives for the better. But in order to bring about change, scientific knowledge must be better known - it must reach people's active consciousness in order to have an impact. This task is no more and no less the raison d'être of sonares ScienceFacts - and our greatest motivation.
